And...I am blogging :)

I have never thought that I will blog...but somehow I have started doing so. One day I hope that my grand daughter will read my write ups in this blog. My posts will be mostly on matters which attracts me most and what lingers in my mind most of the time...my yoga journey, my spiritual journey, my Gurus, writing of my Gurus, my Himalayan dream and Gardening.

A little bit about me, I'm an independent Indian woman. Not very vocal. I try my best to only utter kind and positive words.Im Lacto-vegetarian and I love gardening. I plant only flowers and other leafy plants. I dont plant fruits and vegetable because i end up crying while plucking them from the plant. I see my plants as my very own kids and I talk to them every day. I believe that they understand my feelings the most. I love soothing musics and Indian Classical Dance. I have just started attending Indian Carnatic vocal class . I love kids and I love visiting kids in orphanage to teach them and share my stories with them. I try my best to do Karma Yoga, in everything that I do.

I love yoga. I have always been a self practitioner until I found my Gurus this year. My 1st yoga Guru is Mogana Wandaia akka and the the 2nd one is SK Durai anne. I learnt yoga from Yoga Master Mogana Wandaia only for a month in May this year but she stopped her classes as she was going into a deeper sadhana and she needed to let us go. I was all tearful, heartbroken. Since young it was not easy for me to accept someone as a Guru (later on I write in detail about Guru). And she was the very 1st person I could accept as my Yoga Guru deep from my heart. She asked me to walk alone in my sadhana and the right help will come at the right time. Last year I came across Yoga Master SK Durai's Yoga FB page. I became his fan looking at his love towards yoga. I will go through his FB page nearly everyday, reading his explanations about each asana.  I had very high respect on him. I dreamt of attending his classes but looking at his page I knew that his students are in very advanced level. In September this year he started a new beginner class in Puchong and I grabbed the chance to attend the class. I was all excited to meet the Guru I have always respected even without meeting him in person. Through his classes he made me love yoga even more. His love towards the art makes me work harder and harder. I know that Im in good hands. My Gurus are my inspiration. They will come to my mind first before I start my sadhana. May the Supreme Energy protects and showers blesses upon my Gurus and their Gurus.

I love to deepen my spiritual knowledge through reading and attending spiritual talks. I have 2 spiritual gurus, Paramahansa Yogananda and Dr Kader Ibrahim. Im planning to write in detail about my spiritual gurus in a separate post. Therefore I wont be writing much here. They are Gurus I was attracted to without any plans. God sent and their teachings suits my soul. Before accepting Dr Kader Ibrahim as my guru, I was first his fan since I was in standard 6 when I attended his motivational talk .He was a small framed person but 20 years back I could feel his very positive and strong energy seeping all through me. Paramahansa Yogananda was the only Guru who came to me and spoke to me just with his eyes. I basically read on many Gurus writings and teachings such as Pamban Swamigal, Babaji, Lahiri Mahasaya, Yukteswar, Ramana Maharishi, Jaganath Swamigal..many more. I seek for their blessings every moment in every thing that I do. I have always been mesmerized of the 18 Siddhars and their Siddhis. I have a big dream of meditating in Bababaji's Cave one day...I will...that's my Himalayan dream (I will write a separate post on this).

I strongly believe that we are here to find our way back to the Creator. We are destined to meet every soul, every challenge and every situation on our divine journey way back to the Supreme Energy. I thank the Supreme Energy for this wonderful journey.

Om Shanti.
